Tire Protection Plan

Road hazard damage occurs when a tire fails as a result of a puncture, bruise or impact incurred while driving on maintained roads. Nails, glass, and potholes are the most common examples of road hazards.
1. Why do you need our Tire Protection Plan?

The manufacturer’s warranty typically only covers defects in materials and workmanship, and most tire failures are a result of road hazard damage.

 

2. What are the benefits?

Zohr's Tire Protection Plan provides three years of upgraded protection nationwide on your new tire purchase. This protection plan covers:

  • Tire Replacement Up To 100% Of The Original Tire Cost (Max $400) — When an eligible tire is damaged by a road hazard, this Program provides reimbursement for tire replacement up to the retail tire price on the original tire purchase invoice or the replacement tire price, whichever is less, not to exceed a maximum of $400.
  • Protection For Up To Three Years — The Upgraded Tire Protection Plan covers eligible tires for a term of 36 months. Coverages is valid from the original tire purchase date, or until any part of the tire tread that comes in contact with the road has a tread depth of 2/32” or less, whichever occurs first. When a tire failure occurs during the first 12-months, the tire will be replaced with coverage up to 100%. When a tire failure occurs during the second 12-month period, the tire will be replaced with coverage up to 50%. When a tire failure occurs during the third 12-month period, the tire will be replaced with coverage up to 25%.
  •  
  • Flat Tire Repair Covered Up To $50 per tire, per occurrence during the coverage period (no prior authorization required). Coverage up to $25 when repair is performed by another service provider. If the flat tire repair is performed by Zohr, the repair will be covered up to $50 per tire.

 

3. What is NOT Covered
  • Defects in Materials or Workmanship (covered by manufacturer)
  • FireTheft
  • Vandalism
  • Off-Road Use
  • Accidents

4. Where You Can Obtain Service

Whenever possible the customer should arrange for tire service with Zohr. If the customer cannot make arrangements with Zohr for service, s/he may take the vehicle to any tire servicing facility. Customer may contact the Program Administrator at 1.866.335.5828 during normal business hours to receive assistance locating the nearest tire servicing facility.
