We’re not going to lie. Even when we’re not technically car shopping, we love the KC Auto Show. Our favorite part of the Kansas City Auto Show is simply being around all the great new cars on display, but we also love being surrounded by all the other car people visiting the show. We can’t help it; it’s who we are, and it’s why we do what we do at Zohr.

The Kansas City Car Show (KCAS) started in 1907, so it’s got an incredibly long history, and although it’s not the size of some of the international car shows, that’s what we like about it. KCAS still gets most of the latest and greatest vehicles on the market, but it’s supported by local dealers, so it’s the perfect blend of major automotive brands with hometown hospitality.

Along with the cars and the people there to see them, we love the openness of the Kansas City Auto. The fact that anyone can look at cars, trucks, minivans, and SUVs from their favorite brands, learn about them from a product specialists, not a salesperson, and even sit in them to get a feel for interior space and quality, is a huge plus. The fact that you can do that for all your favorite brands in one spot without any high-pressure sales approach makes it a pleasurable experience.

Another one of our favorite things about KCAS is that it hosts such a wide array of people and vehicles. There are people looking for family haulers, sports cars, economy cars, and off-road vehicles, and there are people who just love the mix of modern cars along with local classic and exotic cars on display by the Kansas City Automotive Museum. There are also people who just happen to be looking for time to kill on their downtime before realizing that they’re now on the verge of becoming a car fanatic, or at least learning that there’s a new car that might fit their needs which they hadn’t even considered previously.

What brands will be at the Kansas City Auto Show?
We’re lucky enough to live in a great area with a lot of automotive choices and a lot of great dealer support, so we are excited to list off the biggest names you can expect to see at the KCAS next week.

Since we’re in the heartland of America, we’ll obviously get to see all the big American brands on display, but we also live in  an area with a wildly broad range of vehicle needs—and wants. Here’s a list of the automotive brands that will be at the Kansas City Auto Show:

That’s just the list of new car manufacturers that will be at the KCAS. There’s also the Classic Cars display put on by the Kansas City Automotive Museum and local auto enthusiasts. That display also has a section with locally-owned exotic cars, so if you’re a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or McLaren fan, chances are very high you’ll get to see your favorites up close and personal.

A few of the classic and collectible cars that will likely be on display are a 1922 Duesenberg Roadster, 1965 Jaguar XK 140, 1936 Cord Model, 1962 Ferrari 250 GTE, and several others.

From new to classic and from economy car to extreme luxury, there’s literally a car for just about every taste and budget that will be on display.

What else is there to do at the KC Auto Show?

As we’ve already said, our favorite thing about the Kansas City Auto show is obviously all the great new cars, but over 500 cars on display wouldn’t be the same without the car people involved, both those who are spectators and those working to make the show a great event.

Unfortunately, a car show like this isn’t always appealing to kids, at least not for the length of time you might want to spend staring at and touching all the new cars. Luckily, the organizers know this and have always done a good job of having enough entertainment available for the

kids. You can take a break to let them have fun in the dedicated Kids Korner while you watch and enjoy some great food from the local food trucks along with something to drink from the beer and wine garden. Everything is all indoors and in the same venue! That way you can enjoy part of the show, some recharge time, and then view the rest of it on your way back through. The KC Auto show is the perfect size, as it’s not so big that it will take you the whole day, but it’s big enough that you can take your time with as many vehicles as you like.

There are plenty of other things to keep you and everyone you bring entertained for the day. We’re really looking forward to Travis Kelce’s appearance at the KC Auto Show. There will also be Live comic book characters, the Ride N’ Drive event, plenty of action for the kids, and much more. Check the full KC Auto Show Event Schedule for all the info.
